The Program of study requires 30 credits for a master’s degree and 10 of 15 courses
A brief description of our courses is outline below:
1. EMP 501– Behavior and Organizational Management
An understanding of the behavior of international organizations and impact of culture differences within a Global environment.
2. EMP 502 - Managerial Accounting and Finance
Fundamentals of managerial accounting and finance, the role of accounting with emphasis on contribution, Cost Volume Profit (C-V-P) and variance analysis, transfer pricing, operational decision making, R&D finance vs. operational finance, impact of international exchange rates
3. EMP 506 – Global Operations Management
Strategic planning, organizational dynamics, product life-cycle management (PLM) and planning, mass customization, product portfolio management, collaboration with R&D, product line acquisitions.
4. EMP 509 - Enterprise Information (Knowledge) Systems Management
Assessing the current EIS (MIS) capabilities in support of the organizational strategies and operational needs, utilization and role of Internet, Intranet and Extranet in value chain management, and new organizational models for initiating, implementing, managing and maintaining Enterprise Information Systems.
5. EMP 517 - Quality and Value Management
Quality is now recognized as a strategic imperative for competitive businesses with a focus on high technology ventures, support of Value Mapping and Value Management, quality control and quality assurance.
6. EMP 518 – Program/Project Management
Systems and total program approach to project management, engineering management, design management, customer interface, and technology development vs. product programs, risk assessment and management
7. EST 581 – Methods of Socio-Technological Decision Making
Application of decision-making techniques to analyze problems involving strategic role of technology, particularly its social impact
8. EMP 521 – Managing New Product Development and Design
Managing enterprise innovation, corporate innovation cultures, idea and creative thinking, product design and development processes and phases, issues in product design, collaboration between R & D and operations/marketing, new product development and ERP, technologies to support the process - product validation and product introduction
9. EMP 522 - Strategic Marketing and Planning
International markets, marketing of technology-based products and services, product marketing, product management, empathic market research, customer experience research & design
10. EMP 523 – International Business and Management
World's marketplace, International Environment, Managing International Business, Managing International Business Operations. cultural issues, impact of law and legal differences compared to U.S., addressing competitive issues related to items such as need for local content
11. EST – 530 Electronic Commerce
Topics addressed in this course include: technology infrastructure, business models and concepts, technological skills needed to build an E-Commerce web site, marketing, communications, security and encryption, payment systems in E-Commerce/M-Commerce. Financial transactions, advertising models, content ownership and the prospects for E-Commerce are also covered.
12. EST 591 - Independent Study in Technology Systems Management
Prerequisite: EST 581 or permission of instructor.
The primary objective of independent study is to provide a student with opportunities to interact with faculty members who can be of assistance in his or her masters project. Students should consult individually with faculty members in workload and credit(s).
上課方式
1. 上課的時間為期兩年，采取Quarter的學制，一年有四個學期，每學期安排一~二門課。
2. 每個學期開始之前，學校皆會發(fā)課程訊息(Syllabus)給學生，上課時間于周一~周五之間選一天，約90~120分鐘之間。
3.畢業(yè)前要安排一個學期要到校本部2周，完成商業(yè)計劃。

1.具國內(nèi)外認可之*文憑(持國外*文憑者，經(jīng)學校審核通過可抵免英文成績)
2.具有相關管理經(jīng)驗三年以上(企業(yè)主管優(yōu)先考慮)
3. *成績總平均GPA（Grade Point Average）達3.0（70分以上）以上。
（GPA為美國*成績換算方式，申請成績單時請換算為GPA分數(shù)）
4. 英文成績 (3選1，承認成績于規(guī)定期限之內(nèi))
